I grew up in Forest Lake watching my dad work with clients. He's been doing this for 47 years now, and seeing how rewarding it could be when you actually care about helping people made the path pretty clear for me.
This was my first real job out of school, and February 2026 will mark 27 years. I never planned to do anything else. Building relationships with people and helping them figure out their wealth journey is what gets me up in the morning. Every client has accumulated their money differently, and I find that genuinely interesting. There's no template for this work.
I started Beck Wealth Management because I wanted to provide serious service and comprehensive planning, especially around retirement and distribution strategies. I think people would tell you I care and operate with integrity. At least, I hope that's what they'd say.
My wife Sara and I have two kids, Hudson and Brooklyn. They're my world. I work hard so we can do unique things together and enjoy life. We live in Lake Elmo now, and when I'm not working, I'm usually outside. Golf and motorsports are my favorites, but really anything with a motor, any sport, and traveling. I just like being outside with friends and family.
The best part about this career is having the flexibility to help people while still having the freedom to enjoy life with the people who matter most.
